When the day reaches the end, I can't resist heading out to see what I can capture

Today was one of those days, the skies darkened, the clouds moved in and we had some rain. There was a small chance of a rainbow, or perhaps some dynamic weather so I ran out the door after work and headed into town.

Only taking the drone this afternoon I thought I'd just check out the light over town and see what people were up to, the surfers on Town Beach catching my eye as I was flying around.

Whilst over the northern break wall I noticed that the water was really clear, but it had so much texture and defined lines in it, whilst a fishing boat just off the shore.

Whilst the sunset disappeared, this magical light came out for 15-20 minutes just before the sun disappeared behind some low clouds on the horizon, and I captured these shots.

I also grabbed some video, I'll put it into a video and share that back soon too, but for now, here's some of the shots I loved.
